BONEWAX
Bonewax is composed of refined beeswax with a softening agent and is supplied sterile in thin sheets.
- Opaque and has a waxy odour
- Does not act biochemically
- Non absorbable
- Intended to aid mechanically in the control of bleeding of bone inuries, whether attributable to trauma or surgical intervention.
- Achieves local hemostasis of bone by acting as a mechanical (tamponade) barrier.
