Polydioxanone Suture
FILAXYNTM endures strength for long-term wound support. FILAXYNTM monofilament synthetic absorbable suture is composed of Poly (p-dioxanone). These sutures are used when prolonged wound support is desirable and the surgeon prefers an absorbable suture.
Intended for use in general soft tissue approximation including use in ophthalmic surgery.
Preferred choice for abdominal wall closure and in immunocompromised/geriatric patients

Indication
FILAXYN TM sutures are intended for use in general soft tissue approximation including use in ophthalmic surgery. These sutures are particularly useful where an absorbable suture with prolonged wound support (up to 42 days) is required.
