Latitud cemented femoral stem implant

The cemented femoral stem has following basic design features:

The cemented femoral stem is manufactured from High Nitrogen Stainless Steel conforming to ISO 5832-9:2007 “Implants for surgery - Metallic materials - Part 9: Wrought high nitrogen stainless steel” and ASTM F1586-13: “Standard Specification for Wrought Nitrogen Strengthened 21 Chromium- 10 Nickel- 3 Manganese- 2.5 Molybdenum Stainless Steel Alloy bar for surgical implants” and intended to be mated with modular femoral head through 12/14 tapered male trunnion.

The cemented femoral stem is highly polished, double tapered, collarless design and is intended to be used with bone cement (cemented fixation).

The cemented femoral stem neck has standard 12/14 taper male trunnion for connection to modular femoral head. 4. This stem is available in 9 different sizes with standard (sizes 0, 1, 2, 3, 4) and narrow (sizes 1, 2, 3, 4) neck offsets.

Key Features

Latitud cemented femoral stem implant

Anatomically shaped design ensures precise fit and enhanced patient outcomes

Polished surface reduces wear and promotes long-term durability

Optimized geometry improves load distribution and minimizes stress on cement

Available in standard and high-offset options to suit diverse anatomies

Latitud Cemented Femoral Stem For Total Hip Replacement

Hip replacement surgery is mostly performed when the hip joint is worn out and affects the mobility of the patient, causing them severe pain, even in a state of rest. The surgery removes the bad joint and replaces it with a metallic or plastic alternative.
